I got the idea for this page from a free thinker called Zyra . I have borrowed from her style of using eye-catching colours - I hope she would approve. However if this troubles your eyes - simply hold down Ctrl+A - to sanitize the appearance. Since I placed my e-mail address on my site I have been inundated with junk mail and have tried different ploys to outsmart the Spammers - this is no easy task. This lady led me to a myriad different ways and a number of excellent links - ToastedSpam being just one of them. Power to the people - it's pay back time!

You have probably come across the term 'Spam' - this is unsolicited or junk mail sent out by the thousand or so to any e-mail addresses the 'Spammer' can obtain by either legitimate or other ways ('Spammer' - someone who sends out 'Spam'). 'Spam-Bots' are scavengers or harvesters - they 'crawl' all over the websites gathering e-mail addresses - they look for anything with an '@' sign in it. These are sent out by either Spammers or people who are more interested in money than marketing. They do not care who they send to. If they send out 10,000 or 100,000 e-mails and only get 2 replies it is worth it - after all it costs virtually nothing - they do not have to pay for paper, printing or postage costs. There is a great trade in e-mail lists so be careful who you give yours to.
